Job Description :<\/strong><\/p>

1. Cash Flow, Payment Process and General Ledger Management<\/p>

  • Review and supervise treasury-related activities performed by subordinates.<\/li>
  • Prepare and monitor monthly cash flow statements to ensure effective cash management.<\/li>
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of payment transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and approval limits.<\/li>
  • Liaise with bankers on treasury-related matters.<\/li><\/ul>

    2. Fixed Assets and Investment Management<\/p>

    • Review and maintain the Fixed Assets Register, including capitalization, depreciation, disposal, and physical verification.<\/li>
    • Manage periodic fixed asset sighting and ensure compliance with asset management policies.<\/li>
    • Manage investment control activities and provide insights into asset utilization and return on investment.<\/li><\/ul>

      3. Reporting, Analysis and Compliance<\/p>

      • Review payment details for accuracy, consistency, and to identify any unusual transactions.<\/li>
      • Ensure finance-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up-to-date and followed consistently.<\/li>
      • Participate in internal control assessments and recommend improvements where necessary.<\/li>
      • Prepare tax computation schedules and audit-related documentation.<\/li>
      • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies for statutory reporting and compliance matters.<\/li>
      • Support the Finance Manager in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, internal controls, and risk management policies.<\/li><\/ul>

        4. Budgeting and Forecasting<\/p>

        • Support Finance Manager in compilation of annual budgeting process and monthly forecast across departments.<\/li>
        • Prepare, analyse and provide data\/report to facilitate and support operational decision-making and strategic planning.<\/li><\/ul>

          5. Team Leadership<\/p>

          • Lead, and supervise junior finance staff, ensuring high standards of performance and continuous professional development.<\/li>
          • Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance operational efficiency and knowledge sharing.<\/li><\/ul>

            Job Requirements :<\/strong><\/p>

            • Qualification: Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting\/Finance or a Professional qualification.<\/li>
            • Experience: Minimum 3 years progressive experience in finance and accounting role within a multi-national company and at least 1 to 2 years in a team\/supervisory role. Working experience with audit firms is added value.<\/li>
            • Strong discipline with good interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>

              1. Report to Senior Executive and Assistant Manager of PSI Planning.             <\/li>

                    • Recording process abnormalities, human errors and resolving production problems.<\/li>
                    • Review, update and delegate work to respective TL and operator on their daily operation.<\/li>
                    • Prepare and review daily production schedule and report on output or work in progress.<\/li>
                    • Conduct 5's and process check<\/li>
                    • Train and develop TL and operators to achieve higher level of production efficiency<\/li>
                    • Provide solution, supervise and judge the performance and ability of production personnel.<\/li>
                    • Carry out and implement the ISO 14000, 18000 & 9001 quality system and procedure.<\/li>
                    • Ensure early detect abnormalities from Team Leader \/ Operator self checksheet feedback<\/li>

                        • To do project management and supervise \/ coordinate work of contractors.<\/li>
                        • Liaise with other departments, contractors, and vendors in daily operation activities.<\/li>
                        • Liaise with utilities providers such as TNB, SAMB, DOSH, DOE and government regulatory bodies on utility services and compliance issues.<\/li>
                        • Abide by legal standards by DOSH, DOE, BOMBA and company safe practices on all work assignments.<\/li>
